WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Normal running shoes, light weight clothing, a towel, a copy of your confirmation e-mail, photo ID, a change of clothes and some cash for food and drink.
ARE THERE SHOWER / CHANGING FACILITIES?
Showers are available on site for participants, hose down areas are also provided! Men and Women’s changing areas are also available on site.
IS THERE PARKING ON SITE?
On site parking is available on the day free of charge. There is also on site parking available for buses and coaches.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
To sign up, simply go to our ‘Registration’ page and follow the steps provided.
WHERE DO I COLLECT MY RACE PACK?
Participant check in will take place on site on the morning of the event from 9am-11am. Each participant is required to sign in and complete a wavier in order to participate. You will then receive your official Toughathlon number and start time.
WHAT DOES MY ENTRY FEE INCLUDE?
Your entry fee includes participating in the challenge, an official TOUGHATHLON event t-shirt on completion of the course.
WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT START?
Sign in will take place from 10a.m to 11:40a.m on the morning of the event. The first wave will start at 12:00p.m and waves will commence every 15 minutes thereafter. CLICK HERE to view the Toughathlon event schedule.

HOW MUCH DO TICKETS COST?
Ticket prices range from €40-€60 depending on when you book. The earlier you book, the cheaper it is. Ticket prices start from €50 for individuals, €45 each for a team of 4 and €40 each for teams of 5+ members. These are early bird offer prices so make sure you SIGN UP early. All registrations on the day of the event will cost €60 and limited places will be available. Spectators enter free.
CAN I RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY?
Toughathlon encourages all participants to raise money for their own chosen charities. CLICK HERE for more information or register to raise money for your chosen charity. Participants who raise €100 or more will receive a 20% discount voucher for the next Toughathlon event.
HOW FIT DO I HAVE TO BE TO PARTICIPATE?
Toughathlon welcomes participants of all fitness levels to take on our challenges. You should be comfortable with running around 10k. Upper body strength is required to complete some obstacles. Mental toughness is also required. Team work is also needed to get through and over some of our obstacles. Whilst we encourage all participants to try and conquer each part of the course, our staff will be on hand to guide you passed an obstacle, if neccessary.
WHAT IF I CAN’T SWIM?
You are not required to be able to swim to complete the challenge. Participants will be able to stand comfortably at all water based obstacles.
IS ANY PART OF THE COURSE REPEATED?
No, participants will have to complete a full 10km course.
WHAT AGE DO I HAVE TO BE TO PARTICIPATE IN TOUGHATHLON?
The minimum age for participants is 16. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign a waiver on the morning of the event.
ARE THERE ANY WATER STATIONS ALONG THE COURSE?
Yes, there will be water stations located along the course.
ARE THERE PLACES TO STAY NEAR THE EVENT?
